My Weekend ♥

Over the weekend I....

Friday - I left school and went home. Then after the sun went down, I went to a friends house for Dinner.

Saturday - I went to volunteer at an elementry school.

Sunday - I went to go see Disney's The Princess and the Frog, played soccer, and ping pong.

That was my weekend! I am already counting down to the next! BTW, I highly recommend see Disney's The Princess and the Frog no matter how old you are. In the movie, a girl (Tiana)

with a big dream goes to one of her best friends (Charlotte) mascarade ball. Food and drinks get spilled on her dress so Charlotte gets Tiana a new dress. Tiana see's a star and then wishes on it. After she wishes upon a star, Tiana see's a frog. The frog wants a kiss so he can turn back into a human. Because Tiana is not a princess, when the frog (he is a prince) kisses Tiana, she turns into a frog, also. Prince Navine and Tiana go on froggy adventures together. Weekend! Already?

Dear Diary,

WOW! Today is Friday ending the week! The weekend is practically here! This week went by so fast. Highlights of my week: My Best Friend got really sick, I wasn't feeling well, I ran a mile and a half, my favorite TV show was on (Ugly Betty) and, I obviously listen to The Beatles. Also, I started a book. The Clique. That book is really popular. I am not sure what I think about so far. So, I am ready for the weekend because this has been a long week. Tomorrow, I am voulenteering somewhere (I am not sure where) to a program called "Give a day get a Disney Day". It is where you voulenteer somewhere for a certain amount of time and then, you get to go to Disneyland for FREE! Turning your brain back on!

Today, everyone went back to school and their jobs. For me, it wasn't a hard transition. I just turned on the "ON" button on my brain and went back like we had school and work yesterday. I worked hard and put a happy face on and it made my day go by fast and easy. I actually enjoyed my day because I got to see my friends/co-workers again for the first time in 2 long weeks. In a way, I am glad that the vacation is over because I love being/seeing my friends/co-workers. This morning, I woke up at 7:30am when I am supposed to wake up at 7:00am. I am supposed to be at work/school at 9:00am. And it was alright because I wasn't late but I just had to get my act together and work a little faster than usual. That's what I did. Going faster is hard. But I go through it. :) Tomorrow, I hope I wake up earlier so I won't have to rush like I did this morning. I admit, some times can be a little hectic. Tonight is going to be a good night because someone is making me a homemade meal and I will go to sleep early tonight. I am really tired. Did anybody read my post about The Beatles? If you read the post that I did before this, you will read about my New Year's experience and what I did for Christmas and also I gave a History lesson about The Beatles. I explained what their top hits were, what songs I liked the most, and when they tragically broke up! But those events happen in life. Speaking of life, did we all have a a good day at work/school? Was it hard to transition back? This morning before I went to school/work, I went to Starbucks! I got a Double Choclaty-Chip with no Moca and Whipped Cream and Carmel. Size Tall. What is your favorite drink from Starbucks? Speaking of food, who likes Frozen Yogurt? I DO! My favorite place to eat Frozen Yogurt is at Humphreys at Van Nuys and Ventura Blvd. You can create your own flavor. My favorite flavor is Sweet Vanilla and Cookie Dough! Humphrey's Yougurt is organic yougurt without powder. Other Yogurt places have powder which make you gassy. It's a real life fact. So, go have some Frozen Yogurt!

Can you believe that tomorrow we have to resume our labor and school tomorrow? I can't. In my view, I was supposed to see snow. But I ended up not. The Holidays (X-mas and Hanukkah) were nice and quiet. Christmas morning I went to a relitive's house (I go every year) and spent time with my family and opened gifts! I got what I wanted. Did you?I spent new years at a friends house where we started a movie at 10:30. By 11:00 the three of us were fast asleep. at 11:59 someone woke us up as we watched the ball drop in snowy New York City in the heart of beautiful Times Square. In Times Square that night, there were more than 1,000,000 people! Can you even think about how hard it was to get out? I can't even go there. Before the ball dropped in magical and memorable Times Square, they were playing the legend John Lennon's (From The Beatles) "Imagine" that he originally recored in June 23, 1971 at Ascot Sound Studios. The Beatles were a group that are from London. On the top right corner of this post, you will see a picture of The Beatles that I got from Flickr.There names are John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. They were a phenomenon. They formed as a group in 1958. They left London to live in New York as a group on February 7th 1964. There top 10 songs are "Hey Jude" (1968), "Let It Be" (1970), "A Day in the Life" (1967), "Strawberry Fields Forever" (1967 also, Central Park in NYC has a spot dedicated to this song called "Strawberry Fields"), "Eleanor Rigby" (1966), "Yesterday" (1965), "In My Life" (1965), "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (1968), "Twist and Shout" (1962) and their # 10 song is "And I Love Her" (1964). My favorite Beatles's songs are "All You Need is Love" (1967), "Blackbird" (1968), "I Feel Fine" (1964), "Hello, Goodbye" (1967), "Help!" (1965), and "Day Tripper" (1965). The Beatles tragically broke up in April 1970. I saw Paul McCartney in concert a few years ago and I loved every second of it. If you have never heard/listened of/toThe Beatles, I encourage you to listen to some of their songs. For those who are wondering, yes. In mid 2009, Rockband came out with a "Rockband Beatles Edition" that sold out everywhere.I am a HUGE Beatles Fan. So, go listen to some Beatle Music. I hope you enjoyed your history lesson on the Beatles even though we still have about 15 hours until school/jobs start. I hope everyone had a great vacation! :)
